I was recently contacted by my friend and fellow blogger, Diane from Dee-vine Anonyme, to conduct a blogger style swap! I was very happy to accept her invite because I've been following Diane for years now and her style is simply wonderful.
After a long process of going down memory lane in Diane's blog I finally decided to recreate the look shown below. I chose this one in particular because I loved the color combination and the pairing of a cute skater skirt with an oversized sweater.
sweater & necklace | FOREVER 21 skirt | PACSUN bag & heels | JUSTFAB
Fashion dwells a lot with finding inspiration and blending that inspiration into your unique style. As you can see here my sweater is quite plain and doesn't showcase a beautiful print but the shape is quite similar and I'm very fond of the "patches" throughout it that do resemble the colors showcased in Diane's sweater.
When it comes to your personal style it is all about interpretation. You do not have to follow a trend to the "T". You simply have to see whether you like that trend or not and what specifically you like about the trend in order to turn it into your own style.
Did you like my take on Diane's Parisian ensemble?
Let me know in the comments below. And don't forget to stop by Dee-vine Anonyme to show Diane some love as well.

Nice job, I love that you did not completely imitate her style. Also love your accents of blue in this look.
